Devised   in   March   2019   by   Judith   Kowalczik   and   dedicated   to   Keith   Rose   and   the   Scottish   Country   Dancers   from Bedford   to   say   thank   you   for   their   support,   openness   to   new   ideas   and   their   bravery   to   take   up   the   challenge   of dancing “The Paranoid Jig” with “Corners Chase and Turn” in quick time as one of the first groups!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE   (S3x32) Judith Kowalczik  (March 2019)  1- 8 1s   set   advancing,   passing   LSh   &   pulling   back   RSh   to   face   each   other,   turn   2H to   face   down,   dance   down   (2   bars)   as   2s   step   up,   turn   2H   to   finish   with   backs to 1 st  corners  9-24 2s+1s+3s dance "Corners Chase and Turn":   `9-12 1s,   followed   by   1 st    corners,   pass   partner   RSh   &   dance   to   3 rd    corner positions,   1s   set   as   1 st    corners   pull   back   RSh   &   turn   each   other   2H   to   finish with backs to 1s   `13-16 1 st    corners,   followed   by   1s,   pass   each   other   RSh   &   dance   back   to   own position,   1 st    corners   set   as   1s   pull   back   RSh   &   turn   each   other   2H   to   finish with backs to 2 nd  corners   `17-20 Repeat bars 9-12 with 2 nd  corners   `21-24 2 nd    corners,   followed   by   1s,   pass   each   other   RSh   &   dance   back   to   own position,   2 nd    corners   set   as   1s   pull   back   RSh   &   turn   each   other   2H   to   finish   in 2 nd  place own sides facing out 25-32 2s+1s+3s   dance   a   3-couple   chain   progression   (also   known   as   "Chaperoned Chain Progression").
