Holly says: “The   first   8   bars   I   call   ‘The   Maurice   Progression’,   inspired   by   the   dance   Maurice   written   by   Gary   Thomas   and published   in   Dunsmuir   Dances   in   memory   of   Maurice   Whitby.   Maurice   was   very   active   in   the   earlier   days   of   the Montréal    Branch    (dancing,    teaching,    and    working    on    the    Committee    of    Management)    until    he    moved    to Ontario.”
