TWO BLACK CATS (R4x32)  Peter Adams  Hunter Valley Book of Dances  1- 4 1L set to partner & cast off 1 place whilst 4M set to partner & cast up 1 place  5- 8 1L set to 2M & cast off 1 place whilst 4M set to 3L & cast up 1 place (end men in order 1 4 2 3, ladies in order 2 3 1 4)  9-16 Top two ‘couples’ and bottom 2 ‘couples’ dance RH across and LH across back 17-24 Cat’s cradle (involving the four dancers in 2 nd  & 3 rd  places all dancing at the same time and ending 2s at top & 1s+3s+4s ready for a poussette): 4M: Dances a ½ fig. of 8 around 1L’s place, crosses down through 2L’s place to 3M’s place and changes places LH on the side with 3M (who is in 4M’s place) 2M: Dances a ½ fig. of 8 around 4L’s place, crosses up through 3L’s place to 2M’s place and changes places LH on the side with 1M (the opposite track to 4M) 3L: Dances across the set & casts up around 1M, crosses down to 2L’s place and changes places LH on the side with 1L (who is in 3L’s place) 1L: Dances across the set & casts down around 3M, crosses up to 3L’s place and changes places LH on the side with 3L (who is in 2L’s place) 25-32 1s+3s+4s dance a (3 couple) poussette to finish with 1s in 4 th  place
