THE TWINS’ DELIGHT (J3x32) Amanda Peart (2013)  TSC 1  1- 4 1s cast off 2 places and cross RH in 3 rd  place, finish facing out and up whilst 2s & 3s turn 1½ times RH moving up one place, finishing with 2s in 1 st  place facing out and down and 3s in the middle facing up (3M needs to add a polite turn)  5- 8 2s+3s+1s ½ reflection reels of 3 on sides, taking hands in the centre (2s cast out and down, 3s dance up, and 1s cast out and up) (1)(3)(2)  9-16 Repeat bars 1-8 from new positions – 2L will add a polite turn at the end of Bar 12  1 2 3 17-22 1s cast off as 3s cross up through 2s into 1s+3s dance ¾ of double fig. of 8 around 2s, finishing with 1s in 3 rd  place on opposite sides and 3s in 1 st  place facing out  3 2(1) 23-24 3s cast to 2 nd  place and face in and down as 2s dance up and face out in 1 st  place as 1s cross RH in 3 rd  place and face out  2 3 1 25-32 2s+3s+1s dance reflection reels of 3 on sides (take hands where possible), 2s casting out and down, 3s dancing in and down, 1s casting out and up  2 3 1
For Brenda & Jenny Parsons of Stow-on-the-Wold. Devised whilst camping (At the Top of the Hill) at Field Barn Park, Bourton-on-the-Water over the weekend of the Stow Dance June 2012 and then substantially revised just under a year later - June 3 rd  2013! The original recommended music was: At the Top of the Hill (Midlothian Pipe Band (F. Beaton), Rock and the Wee Pickle Tow, & The Top o’ Ben Lomond) from Reel Friends 2 by David Hall & his Scottish Country Dance Band. Now included in The Sunday Class Dance Book 1 with accompanying CD by Marian Anderson & her Band, for which Marian wrote “a wee jig” - Brenda & Jenny’s Jig. Watch the
