Devised for Brian and Jane Rose on celebrating their Silver Wedding on 3rd September 2008. Jane Rose was the President of Berkhamsted Strathspey & Reel Club when they celebrated their Diamond Jubilee in 2012. Ken Martlew also composed the two tunes, Silver Roses Strathspey and Silver Roses Reel, which are recorded on the CD by Sandy Nixon & his band. See the demonstration video of this dance here.
