BRAMLEY HOUSE STRATHSPEY (S8x32) John Ashby (Bridport October 2008)  1– 8 1s+2s dance the Espagnole, finishing with 1s facing 1 st  corners  9–16 1s dance a diagonal reel of 4 with 1 st  corners, passing each other LSh at end to face 2 nd  corners 17–24 1s dance a diagonal reel of 4 with 2 nd  corners, finishing LSh to LSh facing opposite sides   25–28 1L+2s & 1M+3s dance RH across (Lady up, Man down), 1s finish in 2 nd   place own sides 29–32 2s+1s+3s turn BH once round
Devised by John Ashby to mark the move by Bill and Kathleen Allan to their new home in Bramley House, Bridport. The dance incorporates 'Macdonald of the Isles' reels which Bill enjoyed as he could gaze into his partner's eyes - and a nice slow turn at the end for Kathleen. Suggested tune - Wells House
