Ann Campbell RSCDS Book 37

1s & 4s cross RH, cast in 1 place & dance RH across once round in
the centre retaining hold of RH
9-16
1s+4s pick up corners on LH & all dance round 2 places (St Andrews
cross formation), set to corner & change places LH
17-24
2s+3s form RH star in centre with corners on LH & dance round 2
places, set & change places with corners (2s & 3s pass between
1s & 4s)
25-32
1s & 4s with nearer hands joined dance out of ends & cast back to
centre, 1s+4s dance ½ R&L ending 2 4 1 3
Note:
The only tricky part is the final turn out of the double wheel (bars 23-24). For
1M and 4L it is RH, for 1L and 4M it is LH. Why? so 1C is in the middle facing up
and 4C is in the middle facing down, both couples having had easy entries in
through the sidelines.
